There are many villages and towns within an easy drive from the campsite below are some of our favourites.
Lyme Regis, Dorset near Hook Farm Campsite
Lyme Regis
Situated in the South West of Dorset, The West Country, England, Lyme Regis is an historic unspoiled seaside resort and fishing port on the world famous Cobb harbour. Surrounded by beautiful coastlines and countryside, the area has now been awarded World Heritage Site Status; famous for its geology and fossil finds.
Charmouth near Hook Farm Campsite
Charmouth
Just two miles from Lyme Regis, Charmouth retains an old world charm, with traditional amenities. A favourite with families and those that want to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life, Charmouth provides a tranquil base from which to explore West Dorset and East Devon - a most beautiful part of the UK.
Seaton, Devon near Hook Farm Campsite
Seaton
Seaton is the only gateway town to the Jurassic Coast where rocks from all three geological periods can be viewed in their natural environment. Seaton beach is over a mile long and ideal for water sports. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and home to the Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve, the South West Coast Path runs alongside the stunning beach. 
Beer in Devon near Hook Farm Campsite
Beer
Beer is an almost hidden gem – from Seaton you can’t see it and approach from the East and you’re almost on top of Beer before you actually see it. Beer is a small fishing village and you can still buy fresh fish from the shack on Beer beach each day. The Beer to Branscombe walk is one of the best you can do on the Jurassic Coast and South West Coast path.
Sidmouth, Devon near Hook Farm Campsite

Sitting along an impressive coastline and surrounded by spectacular countryside and Blue Flag award winning beaches, Sidmouth allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds, with everything you can expect from a beach holiday as well as having a rural feel and a real community atmosphere.
Budleigh Salterton, Devon near Hook Farm Campsite
Budleigh Salterton
Budleigh Salterton enjoys the benefits of being beautifully rural, is surrounded by farmland, as well as water. It has a 2 mile long pebble beach. The nearby Otter Estuary is a nature reserve where you can see lots of birdlife. The town centre has a varied range of shops, most of which are independent and speciality shops, providing a treasure trove of unique gifts. 
West Bay, Dorset near Hook Farm Campsite
West Bay
With the stunning golden glow of the sandstone cliffs West Bay is the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. Situated at the western end of Chesil Beach, West Bay is a wonderful seaside location for family holidays, coast and countryside walks, fossil hunting, fishing trips and more. 
Exmouth, Devon near Hook Farm Campsite
Exmouth
With two miles of golden sandy beach and activities such as kite surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, cycling, bird watching or walking, Exmouth is a great destination. Exmouth is a lively town, situated on the east coast of Devon where the River Exe meets the sea.
Bridport, Dorset near Hook Farm Campsite
Bridport
Bridport is a lively and vibrant market town with rope-making heritage. It has a tremendous reputation for arts, culture, events and food with it's own arts centre, independent cinema and live music venue. The town is a hive of activity with an mix of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants.
