Uplyme
The village of Uplyme is a 10 minutes walk where you will find the Talbot Arms free-house, a village store and post office and sports fields with tennis courts. A convenient riverside walk follows the River Lym down to the sea at Lyme Regis where its south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat trips available from the famous Cobb harbour. |

Stop off for a bite to eat at River Cottage HQ, offering delicious, themed events or even cookery courses or enjoy one of various great restaurants in Lyme Regis itself. Take a trip to nearby Seaton, where you can follow nearly 4km of level trails and boardwalk at Seaton Wetlands, home to an abundance of wild birds or take a tram ride along the River Axe to the history market town of Colyton. |
