Places To Visit In Walking Distance
There are many things to do in and within a close proximity to Lyme Regis apart from simply enjoying the wonderful beaches and coastline.
The Cobb & Harbour
The Cobb is an old stone pier forming an extensive harbour and is believed to date back to the time of Edward I. Picturesque buildings on the Cobb include ex headquarters of sailing and powerboat clubs while another houses a Marine Aquarium (open daily). Lyme was busy in former days both with local fishing and trading with distant ports.
