Hook Farm enjoys a peaceful location only one mile from the beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis and is the nearest touring site to the town. The family run Hook Farm Campsite encompasses over seven acres of camping, campervan and motorhome pitches, as well as a small number of static caravans available for hire. We have bell tents available in addition we have two holiday let properties that can be booked via The Sykes Cottages website.
Unfortunately, due to access issues to and on our site we are unable to take touring caravans of any length or motorhomes longer than 6.85m. We are also unable to accept bookings from converted camper vans that do not meet the DVLA requirements for a camper van conversion.
We are unable to accept bookings for more than one unit per pitch, a unit being defined as one tent or one campervan or one motorhome per pitch.
Hook Farm’s location makes it the perfect base camp for enjoying many of the local long-distance walking trails, with ready access to the striking Undercliffs section of the South West Coast Path, and the East Devon Way providing a convenient riverside walk down to the sea. Please ask in the shop during your stay and we will happily advise on the walks and directions.
Hook Farm offers a quiet site with views across the Lym Valley with no two pitches the same giving an informal and natural layout to the site. We maintain the site with nature in mind and try to encourage as much fauna and flora as possible. We have areas in which we have created nature reserves and wildflower meadows.
Hook Farm is situated in a Dark Skies area which means there is very little light pollution at night and therefore on a clear night we have stunning views of the night sky and in particular the Milky Way. If you are lucky and your stay coincides with the International Space Station passing overhead it is clearly visible.
For food fanatics, as well as offering pop up restaurants on site at the weekends during the high season, Hook Farm is ideally placed for visits to the famous River Cottage HQ restaurant. There are also many fantastic local pubs and restaurants within a few miles of the site that provide great local food and drink. The Talbot Arms is a wonderful local pub offering a good range of drinks, great home cooked food and a warm welcome from the owners Steve and Wendy. It is within a 5 minute walk of the site.
Further information can be found on the Explore pages of our website.
We regularly have new and pre-owned static caravans for sale. Please go to the page on the website to get more details on what we currently have for sale.

"Nice easy campsite to find and check into. The site is a great location for walking into Lyme Regis and driving off for the day. Really good and clean facilities on site, good showers, toilets, nice little shop. Pitches are a decent size and easy to navigate around. Definitely recommend and will visit again."
